Summary: The property needs maintenance. Missing trim, broken doors, holes in wall in bedroom, refrigerator freezer not working, knobs missing off stove, dishwasher soap dispenser not working, clothes dryer doesnt work...need all new appliances! The master bedroom ceiling fan blades are lose creating a noise. The place needs a deep cleaning, including windows, carpeting, appliances filthy, dust everywhere including light fixtures and ceiling fans. Lime build up on seats in the hottub. Hot tub cover needs replaced. The gas grill wasnt working, management sent a replacement immediately. The pressure regulator on water line was faulty and making a loud noise everytime the water was on. Again, they had maintenace fix the issue. The water in the hot tub was green, maintenance came right over and took care of this, too.

Summary: The Lodge has a great layout, it's spacious & accomdating for a large group. The front porch was great for morning coffee, the covered back porch was great for all day shade. Unfortunately that's where the greatness ends. It needs a lot of work:1) The dishwasher does not dispense the soap - we had to put a pod on the top rack, run it twice & we still had to handwash a few items.2) One stove knob is missing another one isn't sitting correctly so 'Off' is on '9'.3) The fridge freezer isn't working. Although, having the chest freezer (in the livingroom) was a nice benefit. We could stock bags of ice.4) There are two clothes dryers in the basement, neither is working.5) The water pump makes a whining, siren-like noise any time someone turns on the water faucet or flushes that's heard throughout the entire three stories of the house. We had to have a "do not flush" rule during the night.6) The shower in the primary bedroom has a cracked bottom so the floor is spongy. Anyone who used it was afraid they were going to crash through the rotten floorboards to the basement. The jets in the tub don't work.7) The basement bathroom shower needs to be completely redone. There is a metal & glass surround with the door completely gone. Their solution was to hang a shower curtain on the frame & its moldy. Water leaks out the sides & mold is dripping down from behind the shower panel. This was our third trip to HH OH but sadly we won't be back to the Lodge.

Summary: The Home was very large and the 17 family members had a great time. My ten year old granddaughter said it the best with "Grandma, we don't even have to leave the house is the vacation! My only issue is the 10:00 checkout with 17 people. Maybe 11:00 would be better. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: The house is large and spacious and the children loved the pool and the game room. We had plenty of space to move around and be together. The large back porch was wonderful. The house definitely needs some TLC though. Every time we ran water anywhere in the house the pipes whined....loudly. We had to set a no water rule between 9:00 pm and 7;30 am so that we did not wake up children with the siren sounding pipes. We also had a lot of trouble with the refrigerator and freezer. When we discovered our ice cream had all melted in the freezer we called to ask for a repairman. We didn't hear back so we called again. When by evening there was still no solution, we called again and asked to talk to a manager. After a very frustratng conversation, we were finally sent a small chest freezer which we were grateful for and did help with the freezer portion. When we expressed concerns about the frig not being cold enough, we were told that we must have overloaded the frig with food too quickly the day before........ but I am not sure what else we could have done when we arrived and needed to store food for 18 people in the frig? It was frustrating that we felt blamed for their poorly working frig. Over the next 3 days we had 2 gallons of milk go bad. The gallons were bought at different places and both were a week away from expiration so we know it was not an issue with our milk. While the house was wonderful in many ways, we will not be returning.

Summary: With temps in the 90's, the pool was a huge success. The house is big with 3 floors and it affords quiet areas when needed. The 57 acres is shared with 2 other cabins, but it is private enough that we never saw anyone else during our stay. The house could use a few maintenence updates, but overall a nice stay.

Summary: The property and the cabin are beautifully located in a rural setting. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, not dirty but needs a good deep cleaning. The pool, hot tub, and big yard are a major plus as the kids had a great time. Both porches provide great areas for sitting around, relaxing, and enjoying the family. The pond appeared to be closer but was further than expected. The firepit is a nice area but all the chairs are busted. We reported this and told them that we were taking chairs from the porch over there to enjoy the fire. The wifi is slow but considering the area could be expected. Upon arrival, a few things were noted and reported, the main concern being if the bathrooms were cleaned as items were left and ripped contacts were on a bathroom sink. On Friday, we reported that one of the front doors remains locked even when unlocked as someone was locked out, the ladder in the pool is not secure, the busted chairs around the firepit, and a pump or hot water heater whining loudly like a fire siren heard throughout the entire cabin. On Saturday, we noticed that the washer barely gets sprinkles of water, the dryer has no heat, and the dishwasher is clogged with food in the bottom so doesn't get water to wash dishes well. This was all reported in a message. The property manager was readily available by phone and noted our concerns but there was no response to the messages. Overall, it was a great long weekend enjoying family in a beautiful setting.

Summary: We had 13 people stay for a bachelor/ette weekend. I can honestly say it was the best weekend ever. This lodge was nothing short of perfect for our group! Beautiful front deck to enjoy coffee and breakfast on in the morning. Plenty of beds and rooms for everyone to sleep comfortably. Beautiful back deck, pool, and hot tub to hangout and entertain during the day. The yard was big enough for two games of beersby to be played.A few downsides, but nothing that hindered the fun were: Crappy wifi, if it connected it was super slow. The images of the pond made it seem closer to the house but it was at the front of the property. I feel the pond and oil well need assessed asap because we cast our fishing lines in and they came out oily. A little bit of flatter concrete for corn hole would’ve been awesome. The water pump was extremely noisy and could be heard throughout the whole house. And, most of the chairs around the fire pit were broke and one on the deck, so luckily we brought our own. Also, we weren’t aware that there were other sites up the drive from us so we got nervous when the first few vehicles drove past and DoorDash stopped at the wrong house. All in all this place was absolutely perfect and we could not have had a better celebrating me and my husband to be with our bridal party!

Summary: Our group made our annual trip to Mountain Lodge and it couldn't have been better. This was the first year we had significant snow and as soon as possible the road was plowed. We had a blast being snowed in. What a beautiful and peaceful property. Can't wait until next year!
